Within walking distance is Hidden Waters Nature Park, home to the Callaway Cabin circa 1853. The cabin offers a glimpse of Ozarks family life in the 1800's, where Parham and Nancy Callaway raised 13 children in this 16x18 foot log structure. The park is in the heart of the city with beautiful walking trails, ponds, waterfalls, bridges, gardens, and fourteen separate springs. It has grown to almost ten acres with this year's addition of a bridge and pergola.

Marshfield loves its festivals, parades and rodeos; and people come from all over the state to enjoy them. There are National and State parks close by with picnic areas, boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and hiking trails to enjoy. For the golfing enthusiast, there is a golf course not more than a 5-minute drive from the Florence Inn. Horseback riding, hunting, zip-lining, kayaking, shopping, sightseeing, shows, amusement parks are also close by. Branson and Silver Dollar City are always a favorite place to spend the day. There’s something for everyone!
